The future is unpredictable, shaped by evolving trends, technologies, and societal shifts.

With the Cosmos being in a constant state of flux, the Future remains increasingly Uncertain

With many variables at play, designing for the future is becoming increasingly complex.

Understanding and adapting to shifts in such complex systems requires navigating an ocean full of unknowns.

Future studies help predict trends and possibilities, while creative strategy charts innovative paths forward.

Designing Futures is the practice of making the future more certain and less complex.

There are TWO approaches to Design Futures

MY TOOLKIT

A set of approaches I draw on insights, methods, and expertise from to design futures that are just, regenerative, and relational.

THESE TOOLS HELP ME:

HOW I USE THIS TOOLKIT:

  • Sense patterns in complex systems

  • Co-create with diverse communities

  • Imagine alternative futures

  • Prototype change

  • Design for long-term transformation

I rarely use these tools in isolation. Each project calls for a unique combination. I adapt, remix, and evolve them depending on the people, context, and futures we’re working toward.
