I am Trisha Mehta, a versatile design practitioner navigating the intersections of research and intervention strategy. Fuelled by intuition, empathy, and an insatiable curiosity, my journey unfolds in the expansive landscape of complex systems research with a keen focus on social citizenship.
Within this landscape, I find joy in unravelling the intricacies of co-design practices, employing lean research methodologies, and drawing insights from behavioural sciences. My passion lies in the imaginative reconstruction of existing systems, frameworks, products, and services to collaboratively and creatively address 'wicked' problems.
Embracing a co-design philosophy, I live by the mantra "Designing WITH, not FOR." As a fervent design advocate, I firmly believe that solutions gain their utmost impact when crafted collaboratively and woven into the fabric of compelling stories.
Having lived across American, European and Asian contexts, my creative pursuits are enriched by diverse perspectives and lived experiences. In my current research, I delve deep into the layers of the deepening ambiguity associated with speculative futures, exploring how emerging practices, resources and technologies can be expertly harnessed in humanitarian settings to envision and shape more inclusive futures.
