DECIPHERING MAYA:
A POEM BY RABINDRANATH TAGORE

The poem ‘Maya’ by Rabindranath Tagore was the1st of the abstractions I’d learned since I’d known of art as an experimental media (2012-13: IGCSE 'Art and Design' Portfolio). The 12-month long process of understanding and deciphering meaning and designing thumbnails, illustrations, layouts and iterations is what I’ll always remember as my first step into the world of design and experimental, playful media.
